Mazda6 Shift Problem Fix.

This is for those folks who have seen my Youtube video detailing my issues with my Mazda6 shift linkage. I created a bracket that slid over the metal collars near the ends of the cables, then secured it with small bolts to the existing bracket through which the cables pass, near the transaxle. My bracket was made with 1/2" aluminum. I would suggest making a similar shape with thinner metal and then riveting those pieces together, though I am not an expert by any means. Best of luck!
